Srinagar 03th Nov 21:Continuing its effort to make the rural women self-reliant and economically independent, renowned Socio-Political Activist Agha Syed Karar Hashmi has opened a tailoring training centre at Lati Mohallah Dal in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The inauguration was done by Advocate Shah Gazanfar along with several dignatries . Karar Hashmi said that it is basically team work , youth under the baneer of Inspire World and others contributed to make this programme successful.Under this programme, we are basically targeting poor people and our aim is to get these girls to train so that they get further opportunities. Their success would inspire other women in the village to become entrepreneurs and generate employment.

Hashmi further said to media that we have  total number of 115 girls enrolled under the course for three months. All the girls are very much motivated and confident to complete the course within the given time period. Once they complete the course, they will be awarded with a certificate.The tailoring course is run in three shifts every day and three teachers are available to provide the training. 

Opening up this training and job opportunity does not only provide them with a salary but also helps to raise confidence and to increase the weight of their voice and their share in decision making processes in their families. Hashmi added
