In an endeavor to take firsthand appraisal of the community issues, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today presided over a Block Diwas at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Manigam.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Tehsildar Lar and other officers from concerned line departments, public representatives and locals participated in the Block Diwas.
During the event, residents of block Lar raised several developmental concerns and grievances with the concerned officers. These issues include upgradation of Anderwan road, commissioning of Vocational Training Centre at Chountwaliwar, NOC for construction of boundary wall of Haripora School, development of playground alongside other pressing community issues.
