DC Kulgam chairs DTF meeting on Pulse Polio Immunization-2024

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a meeting of District Task Force (DTF) on Pulse Polio Immunization 2024 to discuss the planning and implementation of activities for pulse polio immunization-2024 scheduled to be held on 3rd March 2024.

The meeting discussed various parameters, including human resources planning, vaccine and cold chain planning, logistics and transport planning, transit points, hard to reach areas, and social mobilization plan.

The meeting was informed that Kulgam has 88381 estimated population of children below 5 years.

It was also informed that the department has taken advance measures to cover all the areas including the hard to reach areas.

The DC stressed upon all the stakeholders to work as a team and ensure that no children below the age of 5 is left without pulse polio immunization.
