Deputy Commissioner (DC), Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Friday undertook a visit to Zewan area of District to oversee the progress of ongoing works being executed for providing Migrant Transit Accommodation to the PM Package employees.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, Superintending Engineer, PHE, Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer PDD, Tehsildar Panthachowk and other concerned.
The Deputy Commissioner took a round of the various under construction blocks of the Migrant Transit Accommodations. He was apprised that the work on the project for construction of 39 blocks comprising of 936 flats is going on in full swing and as on date an amount of Rs 50 Cr has been expended against the allotted cost of Rs 112.34 crore.
