“DED” A Novel by Sohan Kaul Released

Novel DED written by Dr Sohan Lal kaul in Kashmiri language was released today  in a function organized by Kali Das Theathre and J&K fiction writers Guild.

Function was presided by eminent writer Ghulam Nabi Khayal.  The prominent broadcaster and poet Farooq Nazki was the chief guest. Famous Urdu fiction writer and president of J&K  fiction writers guild Wahshi Syed graced the presidia.

President Kali Das Theathre Ayash Arif stressed upon the necessity  of such functions. Especially the addition to Kashmiri fiction is by all means encouraging.

Critic Adil Mohiuddin read a paper on the novel.

Farooq Nazki said that this type of narrative is finest in Kashmiri literature. It is the best after Farooq Masudi and Hari Krishan kaul.

Ghulam Nabi khayal praised the novel and said that this high class literature is required in Kashmiri literature.

Writer, critic and Broadcaster Amin Bhat conducted the proceedings.
