The decision of Govt. of India to come up with new Domicile laws for J&K is a litmus test for the secular credentials of India on the global platform with its Constitution under threat from the right wing BJP Govt inching towards changing the demographic character of the oldest recorded state in the subcontinent. It is shamelessly being executed while the world is struggling for survival. This was stated by ANC Sr. Vice President Muzzafar Shah in a statement issued to the press in Srinagar today.
Let it clear one & all, no matter what, Jammu Kashmir will have to be restored with Article 370 & 35 A with or without the Narinder Modi led BJP Govt. The entire state of jammu kashmir & Ladakh today understands the BJP game plan. Kashmiri’s fears have proved correct today with every Dogra, Dalit, Rajput, Sikh, Pahari, Gujjar & the Kashmiri Pandit as well as the Ladakhi understanding the sinister plot of the Hindutva controlled BJP being unleashed on the guarantees of jobs, livelihood, property rights, businesses, constitutionally guaranteed to the Maharaja & thereafter to the People’s representatives headed by Sherekashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah in shape of Article 370 & 35A, Shah stated.
ANC Sr VP further stated that the entire political spectrum of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh stands united to defeat this game plan & ensure reversal of these draconian laws forced upon the people of J&K State under the barrel of the gun & severe breach of Constitutional propriety committed by the Modi Govt.
There is no question of diluting 370 & 35 A & all those who have succumbed in front of these fundamental forces should retract their steps & call It quits
