Former minister and senior leader of the Jammu and Kashmir national conference, Qammar Ali Akhone has termed the center’s domicile law as another ‘betrayal’ with the people of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. In a statement he said that taking opportunity from the global pandemic center has tried to impose another law of domicile in Jammu and Kashmir, which is totally unacceptable for us.
“ We have already rejected the bifurcation of the state and this time again we reject this domicile law which has been impose on us without the people’s consent”.
He further said, “We have already rejected the Union Territory status and continuously demanding restoration of the state with divisional status for ladakh.
“We have never supported division of the state on the basis of region, religion and language and even today we stand by our demand”. He told.
Mr Akhone also demanded the immediate release of all political leaders of the state who lives are at risk due to global pandemic and they should be with their families at moment of time, he added.
