Srinagar | Tuesday, June 25, 2017: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah have greeted the people of the State and the Muslim Ummah in general on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Praying for peace and prosperity in the State, Dr. Farooq Abdullah in his message said “The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fasting in the month of Ramzan and rededicate ourselves to the path of truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity”.

In his message on Eid-ul-Fitr, NC Working President Mr. Omar Abdullah has extended his warmest greetings to the people of the State and prayed this auspicious occasion becomes a new harbinger for peace and amity in the State. He also hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood.

NC General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, NC Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Senior Leaders Abdul Rahim Rather, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Chauhdary Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Chief Spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Mubarak Gul, Shameema Firdous, Sakina Ittoo, State Spokesperson Junaid Mattu, Party legislators, leaders and office bearers have also greeted the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
