DSEK cautions people against fake websites, social media accounts

Srinagar, Aug 10 : The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has cautioned that some unscrupulous elements are running fake social media accounts and websites in the name of DSEK to mislead and dupe people.
In a statement issued here today a spokesman of DSEK said that the Directorate has only one official website; www.dsek.nic.in, while the official Facebook page is available on https://www.facebook.com/DSEKashmir/.
The spokesman urged the general public, teachers, students and other stakeholders not get misled by the information circulated through fake websites and social media accounts operating in the name of DESK.
He said the Directorate has approached the Cyber Cell of J&K Police to initiate legal action against the persons involved in running fake websites and social media accounts in the name of DSEK.
