An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck Leh in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Sunday morning, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said.

According to the NCS, the tremor occurred at 08:24 a.m. IST at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was located at latitude 35.10°N and longitude 75.19°E.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Authorities said the tremor was minor and people need not panic.
