Skal Intl J&K signs historic agreement with Skal Intl Mumbai

Mumbai, Sept 13:  Skal International Jammu & Kashmir and Skal International Mumbai South officially signed a historic twinning agreement during the Skal International National Congress held on 12–13 September 2025 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.

According to a statement issued here, the ceremony took place in the presence of Member of Parliament Dr. Shashi Tharoor and Sanjeev Mehra, National President, Skal International India, who congratulated both clubs for strengthening bonds of friendship, cooperation, and mutual growth within the tourism and hospitality industry.

With this landmark partnership, Skal International Jammu & Kashmir has become the only club in India to have signed two twinning agreements, further reinforcing its commitment to collaboration and global networking within the Skal movement.

Another major highlight of the Congress was the launch of the first edition of “Skal Insight Jammu & Kashmir” magazine, unveiled collectively by all 19 Presidents of Skal International India clubs along with National President Sanjeev Mehra. The magazine reflects the vision, achievements, and hospitality potential of Jammu & Kashmir while serving as a platform for tourism promotion and Skal activities.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from both clubs expressed their dedication to working together in promoting sustainable tourism, cultural exchange, and business opportunities between the regions.

The event was a proud milestone for Skal India, symbolizing Skal’s motto of “Doing Business Among Friends” and showcasing India’s growing role in the international Skal fraternity.
