International Human Rights Commission high-powered committee under Ambassador T. H Braich, Ambassador Friday Barilule Nbani, Ambassador Dr Mina Ogbanga, Ambassador Shaik Gause on Saturday decided that Thirty-Three-year-old Fahar Manzoor Baba, hailing from Srinagar city in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir – India, has been appointed as the President, for International Human Rights Commission the world’s largest Human Rights Organisation by the Secretary General, Ambassador Aynul Hossain has issued the order for his appointment and will be honoured with all diplomatic privileges prescribed in to the constitution and relevant protocols.
The International Human Rights Commission an independent council that aims to promote human rights and public freedoms in accordance with constitutional provisions, in light of international conventions, covenants and charters ratified by IHRC – India. The council will aim at consolidating their values, raising awareness of these rights and contributing to their implementation. Mr Baba is very passionate about inclusion concerning race/ethnicity, gender, and life experience. Fahar Baba with his vast knowledge and experience, will be able to integrate and capitalize in our team and add tremendous value to our International Human Rights Commission, the Secretary General, in a statement said. Fahar Baba is active Executive President in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and is also a Youth Ambassador for International Youth Society. We are certain that he will create awareness to the society, youth, and general public regarding their rights.
Further, Fahar Baba said, “It is a great honour to be elected President of the International Human Rights Commission, and I express my gratitude to all its members for entrusting me with this task. I commit to doing my best, and I look forward to working with all stakeholders in ensuring that coming year is a success, not only for the work of this Council, but also for the promotion and protection of human rights for all people.” I will again prove myself to be an asset for International Human Rights Commission and they will be proud of his selection against the post. My devotions and loyalty will be purely for my work. I will make sure that I will utilize my experience and skills enough to keep my work remarkable, He added.
