Forces detain youth during CASO in North Kashmir

Clashes erupted in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district after Government Forces launched a cordon and search operation in a locality there.

Reports said that search operation was launched after Forces got inputs about the presence of militants in Bonikhan Mohalla.

Reports added that Irfan Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bonikhan mohalla, was detained for questioning after the culmination of search operation.

Sources said that no contact with militants was established during the search operation.

The operation was conducted by 13RR of the army, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 45 Battalion CRPF.
