Mirwaiz, Malik, Geelani go into a huddle

In a late evening development, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik arrived at Syed Ali Geelani’s residence for an “important meeting”, a source said.

The development follows a day after newly elected Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai’s son Junaid Ashraf reportedly joined militancy.

Mirwaiz and Malik reached Geelani’sHyderpora residence in uptown Sgr at around 8 pm for the meeting.  “Various issues are being discussed and a future course of action will be chalked out,” a source in the know of the developments confirmed. The meeting was underway when this report was filed.
