Take effective & Safety measures to prevent untoward incident, says Nirmal Singh

Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh called upon  LG Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhavan Srinagar for safety of students of Jammu and rest of India studying in Kashmir and take effective measures to prevent any untoward incident and address the waning sense of security among the students living in Kashmir.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr nirmal singh also talked with DG Dilbagh Singh and IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar regarding the safety of students of Jammu and rest of India and gets assurance from them that proper security will be provided to everyone and said they have taken full measures to protect all students and also take steps to see that the relationship between people of Kashmir and students remains cordial, he added.

Meanwhile Dr Nirmal Singh also wrote on his official Facebook timeline that “Talked to DG Dilbagh Singh and Vijay Kumar, IG Kashmir regarding the safety of students of Jammu and rest of India studying in Kashmir. Both of them ensured that proper security will be provided to everyone and necessary steps have been taken in this regard. Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan here today”.
