The strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway was on Tuesday closed following fresh landslides, police said.
The landslides occurred in Ramsoo area.

“A clearance operation has been started and the highway is expected to be restored later Tuesday,” said an official.
The nearly 300-km-long highway is the only major road link between the Kashmir Valley and the rest of the world.
