‘Gosha-e-Fayaz Dilbar’ Unveiled at Srinagar Literary Event

Srinagar, Jan — Quarterly literary magazine Koh Maaraan on Sunday unveiled its latest issue, titled “Gosha-e-Fayaz Dilbar,” at a local hotel in Srinagar.

The event was presided over by former Head, Dept. of Journalism, University of Kashmir, Prof. Nazir Mirza, alongside noted journalist Javid Azar, fiction writer Mohi-ud-Din Reshi and literary figure Ghulam Nabi Shahid.

Earlier, Editor-in-Chief Suhail Salim welcomed guests, while Sara Sultan presented a review written by Dr. Shah Faisal. Speakers highlighted the scholarly and literary contributions of Fayaz Dilbar and praised Salim for dedicating a special section to his life and works.

In his presidential remarks, Prof. Mirza said the issue documents the “multidimensional personality of Fayaz Dilbar,” describing it as an important literary record. Other speakers revived memories related to Dilbar and reflected on his legacy.

Writers, poets and distinguished personalities from across the Valley attended the gathering. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Suhail Salim, while Dr. Shehzada Saleem conducted proceedings | Kashmir Pen
