Government employee caught while taking bribe in Budgam, arrested

Anti-Corruption Bureau Kashmir on Friday arrested a government employee while he was taking bribe in Chadoora area Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

As per reports, Hilal Ahmad, who works as CIB operator in Block Development Office, Chadoora was caught taking bribe of Rs.4400/- by a team of Anti-Corruption Bereau.

The Anti-Corruption Bereau had laid a trap after they received a complaint that Hilal Ahmad Ganie was demanding bribe from a person for release of his payment.

In this regard, a case was registered in Police Station Anti-Corruption Bureau, Srinagar under FIR No. 06/2020 under Prevention of Corruption Act.
