Srinagar: Following one full year of successful flagship motor-sporting, car culture and off-road events, Kashmir Off Road in collaboration with 92.7 BigFm and the suppor tof J&K Tourism today announced, Big FROZEN RUSH 2- The only Snow Auto Cross in the country. The event is the second edition to the widely successful Frozen Rush, snow car race which was held in January 2017 at Gulmarg.
Speaking on the occasion, founder of Kashmir Off Road, Ali Sajid said- “I am overjoyed to announce Big Frozen Rush 2. We, at Kashmir Off Road, take pride in laying the foundation of motor-sporting and off-road events and at the same time promoting car culture, in the region, which all started with our very first event Frozen Rush in January 2017. I am delighted to say that more than us as a team to produce and conduct these events one after another, it’s the car enthusiasts of Kashmir, who have constant craving for more such events and the way they show their interest and participate in all our activities. Somewhere down I feel elated to have introduced something new to the valley and perhaps this is how I contribute to my homeland”.
Kashmir Off Road organized and produced three major motor-sporting events in 2017 itself, namely- Frozen Rush (Gulmarg, January), Mudzilla (Budgam, April) and Big Evolution(Nigeen Club/ Srinagar, October) apart from wide array of expeditions and off-road sojourns, throughout the year.
“We have scheduled Frozen Rush 2Snow Autocross on 20th and 21st January, 2018. The registrations have begun but are limited. The autocross shall take place in Gulmarg.”- added Ali Sajid.
The Big Frozen Rush 2 is the biggest and also the only snow autocross in the country. This year the event is going to be bigger and better and exciting for all participants. The top three winners shall receive the sum of INR 50,000/ 30,000/ 20,000 along with several gift hampers and vouchers. Registration and race fee for individuals is INR 3,000 only, which includes registration and fee for 2 races. Entries are limited to 50 vehicles only.
“With all the excitement building up, we are making sure to raise the bar and put up yet another adrenaline-charged snow autocross for our car enthusiasts in the region.”- said Ali Sajid.
