Employees Joint Action Committee(EJAC) in its Statement said that the Administration is working on war footing and taking all possible measures to tackle the crisis and to ensure the safety of community at large.
The Govt after Sensing spike in COVID-19 patients in UT of Jammu & Kashmir has recently issued an order through the Health & medical Education Department wherein one year re-emploment were granted in favour all the Doctors & Paramedics who had attained the superannuation on 31.3.2020 with the aim to provide adequate medical Services to the general masses and to reduce the spread of Covid-19, therafter the medical staff Including Doctors, Pharmcits and Nurses were allowed to Join but to the utter surprise Field staff including CHO,s Health Educators BHW,s etc were not allowed to continue.
Pertinent to mention that the purpose of beating back the Pendemic, besides Doctors and Paramedical staff the services of field staff are equally impartant rather more imprtant to prevent the any kind of epdimics by parting Preventive Education in the community. Accordingly in the larger interest and to maintain sanctity of Govt orders, EJAC urges authorities of Health Department to implement the Govt order for re-employment in its right perspective without discrimination and allow the Field Staff to join & render their experiences.
