Hospitals, educational institutes within Srinagar Municipal Limits declared ‘no-horn zones’

In the public interest, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today declared various areas in Srinagar City as ‘no-horn zones’ with immediate effect.

The areas which have been declared as no horn zones are G.B. Panth Hospital Sonawar to Radio Kashmir Srinagar crossing, all hospitals and educational institutions coming within the limits of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and premises around Hon’ble High Court, Srinagar and Lower Court Moominabad, Batamaloo.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police was directed to strictly deal with the erring persons under relevant provision of law and submit action taken reports quarterly in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
