, April 10: The 45th Annual Meeting of the Indian Association for Cancer Research (IACR) commenced today at the Convocation Complex of the University of Kashmir, bringing together leading minds in oncology and biomedical sciences.

Organised by the Department of Biochemistry, the four-day conference is themed “Advancements in Cancer Research: Discoveries, Therapeutics and Challenges.” The event has attracted eminent scientists, researchers, clinicians, and academicians from across India and abroad, providing a platform for sharing cutting-edge developments and fostering collaboration.

In her inaugural message, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan highlighted the significance of such academic forums in promoting scientific dialogue and strengthening research networks. She reiterated the University’s commitment to advancing high-quality research and innovation in the field of biomedical sciences.

The conference will feature expert lectures, technical sessions, and discussions on emerging trends, therapeutic breakthroughs, and ongoing challenges in cancer research.
