Srinagar, Sept 1: National Conference Chief Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar strongly refuted reports circulating on social media regarding Chief Minister Omar Abdullah being denied entry into the Hazratbal Dargah.

Taking to X, Dar termed the report as “fake news” and reaffirmed that Omar Abdullah, as the elected Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, enjoys full respect and access to the revered shrine.

“Fake news. @OmarAbdullah Sb is the CM of J&K and no one can stop him from entering the Sanctum Sanctorum of Dargah Hazratbal. I request the reputable @ttindia to ascertain facts before putting the questionable version out in public domain and don’t fall to BJP propaganda,” Dar wrote.

The clarification comes after certain online posts suggested a controversy during Omar Abdullah’s visit, which the NC leadership has dismissed as a baseless attempt to malign the party and its leader | Kashmir Pen
