J-K : Mirwaiz Farooq extend greetings on Mela Kheer Bhawani

Srinagar, June 22: Chief preacher of Kashmir Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday extended warm greetings to Kashmiri Pandits on Wednesday on the occasion of Mela Kheerbhawani Bhawani.

“On the occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani, I extend my warm greetings to our Kashmiri Pandit brethren. May this day renew the spirit of mutual respect, brotherhood and the shared heritage of Kashmir that we inherited,” Mirwaiz said in a post on X.

Hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits devotees have assembled at Tulmulla in Ganderbal district to pay obeisance at the Ragnya Devi temple, popularly known as Kheer Bhawani. ( PTI )
