
Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – A press conference was held today at INOX Srinagar, Shivpora, organized by Seven 2 Creations, regarding the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Film Carnival.
During the conference, the release date of the highly anticipated Kashmiri language film “Qouluf, The Ensorcelled” was revealed by Hussein Khan the organizer of the film carnival. The film will be screened from October 4 onwards, with ticket bookings opening soon.
Director Ali Emran shared insights into his film, highlighting its significance as the first Kashmiri language film to be released in a cinema hall in 60 years in Kashmir. Emran emphasized the impact of this theatrical release on Kashmiri language filmmakers.
“This milestone marks a new era for Kashmiri cinema, and we’re proud to contribute to its revival,” Emran stated.
The film’s producer, Kashmir’s lone female producer, was hailed as a trailblazer, making this achievement a matter of pride for Kashmiri cinema.
Bashir Dada a member of the cast and a veteran actor along with another member of the cast Hakeem Javaid shared their enriching experience working on “Qouluf, The Enensorcelled”, praising the film’s unique storytelling and cultural significance.
Ali Emran concluded the conference by announcing his forthcoming Kashmiri language film, “Arni-Rang”, produced by Seven 2 Creations and directed by himself.
