J&K Bank ATM network grows to 1126 Two ATMs at Pulwama, Kathua & Executive Guest House inaugurated

Srinagar, Aug 17  : J&K Bank commissioned two more ATMs today; one at Pulwama in Kashmir and the other at Kathua in Jammu, amid good gatherings of valuable customers, senior citizens and local businessmen.  The total number of ATMs has gone up to 1126 consisting of a strong network of 1033 ATMs in J&K alone.

The total number of such Machines in district Kathua has reached 31 and total number of ATMs in the Zone has gone to 50, while as the number of ATMs in the Kashmir (South) has reached to 78.

In Kathua, the Bank’s Executive President S S Sehgal inaugurated the ATM near Main Gate of M/s Chenab Textile Mills (CTM) at Kathua in presence of Executive President (CTM) K C Sharma, Bank’s Vice Presidents Arvind Gupta, Rakesh Gandotra, and Cluster Heads besides senior staff of CTM. This ATM with higher capacity of disbursal will cater not only to the needs of the CTM workers and officials but also serve the local populace of the adjoining villages in the vicinity.

Notably, M/s Chenab Textile Mills who are one among the premier clients of the bank are having Banking relationship with J&K Bank for more than three decades. Speaking on the occasion Executive President of M/s Chenab Textile Mills Mr. K.C. Sharma disclosed that M/s Chenab textile Mill have provided employment to more than 9000 people of J&K State and the unit is  third largest textile manufacturing industry at a single location in the country.

Pertinently, S S Sehgal, Executive President of the Bank also inaugurated Executive Guest house of the bank at Govindsar, Kathua. The guest house has been constructed for the convenience of visiting Executives of J&K Bank.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Pulwama G M Dar inaugurated the bank’s  Automated Teller Machine at Qasbayar, Pulwama in presence of Zonal Head (Kashmir South) – I Tasaduq Ahmad Dar, Cluster Head Pulwama Muzaffar Qadiri, Head Business Unit Shadimarg and senior bank officials.

People at both places expressed their gratitude towards the bank for providing them instant banking services right at their doorsteps.

Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head described the installation of ATM’s at remote places as bank’s endeavour to facilitate services at the customer’s doorstep. He urged the people to take maximum possible benefit of the technology-driven services provided by the bank.
