J&K Cultural Academy Condoles the Demise of Renowned Artists Mohammad Yousuf Bacha

Srinagar, 14-11-2025 : The Jammu and Kashmir Cultural Academy has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned Artst Mohammad Yousuf Bacha of Sopore. In their condolence message, the Secretary of the Academy, Ms. Harvinder Kour, and Additional Secretary Ideel Saleem stated that the passing of Bacha has caused an irreparable loss to the field of fine arts in Kashmir, which can never be compensated.

They said that Mohammad Yousuf Bacha actively participated in several painting exhibitions and workshops organised by the J&K Cultural Academy and created many invaluable artworks that received wide appreciation from art lovers.

Cultural Academy expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
