J&K Police Neutralize ‘Suspicious White Object’ Near Dal Lake in Controlled Explosion

Srinagar, Sep 22: J&K Police carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious object found near the banks of Dal Lake, in Srinagar, on Monday.

The object, described as a white ball, was found during routine surveillance, prompting police to cordon off the area as a precaution, an official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com, adding that, the controlled explosion was carried out to neutralize any potential threat posed by the object.

They said the situation is now under control, and a detailed investigation is underway to determine the nature and origin of the object.

No damage was reported in this incident, the official added.
