SRINAGAR 19 May : The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced its selectors’ panels for the 2026–27 season, retaining former first-class cricketer Sarabjeet Singh as Chairman of the Senior Men’s Selection Committee.

Sarabjeet Singh, a former wicketkeeper-batsman who has featured in 91 first-class matches, will continue to head the senior selection panel, ensuring continuity in the system.

The Senior Men’s Selection Committee includes former off-spinner Sameer Khajuria, who has taken 93 wickets in 34 first-class matches, and fast bowler Mohammad Mudhasir, who has claimed 117 wickets in 40 appearances.

For the Junior Men’s Selection Committee, Bandeep Singh has been appointed chairman, with Aditya Pratap Singh and Obaid Haroon serving as members.

In women’s cricket, Anuradha Sharma will lead the senior selection committee, while Payal Chaudhary will head the junior panel.

The JKCA said the reconstituted panels are intended to strengthen talent identification and improve the player development structure across the Union Territory.

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) is the official governing body for cricket in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and is an affiliated unit of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It operates from the Sher-i-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar and the GGM Science College Ground in Jammu, overseeing player development, domestic competitions, and the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team.
