Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor is one of the most searched Indian celebrity on the internet currently as she was the first Bollywood celeb to have tested positive with COVID-19 last month. She once again became the talk of the town as reports suggesting her missing from her Lucknow house started making rounds on the internet but the ‘Baby Doll’ singer has taken to Instagram to slam all those reports with her latest post.
Taking to social media, she shared a statement in which she said that she is currently at her Lucknow house and is spending quality time with her parents. Not only that but she also revealed that no one from the UK, Mumbai or Lucknow, who she had met have any symptoms of coronavirus and all have tested negative. Kanika captioned the post as “Stay Home Stay Safe.
Kanika had spent several days in the Lucknow hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 and was finally discharged after her tests came negative. Even after being discharged, she was suggested to self-quarantine herself at home for the next 14 days.
Not only Kanika but Bollywood producer Karim Morani and his daughters were also diagnosed with COVID-19 but they too have recovered and returned home and are currently self-quarantining themselves.
Meanwhile, according to reports making rounds on the internet, FIRs have been registered against Kanika Kapoor for her negligence and the reports also suggested that she would soon be interrogated after her home-quarantine ends. ( TOI )
