PDP cheif Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija Mufti on Tuesday urged authorities to release all prisoners detained since August last year and said the continuous incarceration undermines our democratic credentials.

Iltija who runs her mother’s twitter handler tweeted, “All Kashmiris illegally detained since 5th August deserve freedom.Their continued incarceration even in times of a global undermines our democratic credentials. Nevertheless, I’d like to thank everyone for their support & good wishes”.
Earlier an order issued by Home Department stated that PDP cheif Mehbooba Mufti would continue to remain under detention and only her place of detention has been changed.
