The two militants who were killed yesterday in an encounter with government forces at Khanmoh area of Pampore town have been identified by their families.

The two slain militants have been identified as Owais Ahmad of Dadsara, Tral and Shabir Ahmad of Aghanzpora area of Padgampora, Awantipora.
As per police records both of them had joined militancy last year in the month of March and August respectively.
The dead bodies have been handed over to their legal heirs for last rites.
