Militants give slip to forces during CASO in Hajin

Forces called off Cordoned and Search Operation (CASO) in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district where militants managed to escape after brief encounter on early Friday.

According to official reports CASO was launched jointly by Army police and CRPF at Khosa Mohalla area of Hajin about the presence of militants in the area.

However, when the forces were sealing all exit points in Khosa Mohalla, militants fired indiscriminately and managed to escape from the spot.

Meanwhile minor clashes were reported in the area.
