A demolition drivewas launched by the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority under the supervision of Enforcement Officer in the area Baghwanpora LalBazar,  NFR, Ishber, Laam and upper Braine Manzgam  in which 08 illegal constructions/structures were demolished including 02 third storey houses, 02 second storey houses,02 tin wallings,  one roofing and one shop.

It is pertinent to mention here that amid Covid-19, when there is Lockdown everywhere the miscreants are taking undue advantage and indulging in illegal constructions but all such unscrupulous elements will not be allowed for any sort of violation and raising of illegal constructions.

Moreover, all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction are once again informed that not to go for any sort of illegal constructions /encroachments. As the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions. Moreover the Tripper/Load carrier owners are directed not to carry any type of illegal construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without proper permission from the concerned agencies.
