Leopard Escapes After Spotted In A Residential House In Budgam Village

A leopard escaped when the wildlife department tried to catch him when he was spotted in a residential house in Paymus area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

An official while confirming the incident told that a leopard was spotted in a residential house in Paymus area here.

All the family members were rescued safely and a team of wildlife department was sent to the spot to catch the leopard.

However local sources told that the leopard escaped from the area after the wildlife team reached the spot.

Wildlife officials said that a team has been constituted to trace the wild animal in the area.
