It seems there’s a heightened concern about a leopard sighting in the Malabagh area of Srinagar. Wildlife officials have taken precautionary measures by deploying teams at several schools, such as RP School and Green Valley School, to monitor the situation closely. Despite the challenging weather conditions preventing a drone survey, officials are determined to conduct one once the weather improves.

It’s crucial for residents to remain calm and for school authorities to continue their routine activities with the assurance that wildlife teams are actively monitoring the area. Additionally, the public is advised to exercise caution, especially with children, and avoid venturing out during morning and evening hours until further notice.
