Srinagar, July 21, Kashmir Pen: A major cinematic milestone is on the horizon for the Jammu & Kashmir film industry as the much-anticipated international film “Love in Vietnam” gears up for release. Though global in scope, the film proudly features the creative vision and talent from Jammu & Kashmir.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rahat Kazmi, the film showcases the growing presence of J&K artists on the international stage. Notably, Tariq Khan joins the production team as one of the producers, and Kritika Rampal contributes as one of the screenwriters — both hailing from the region.
The film also features notable performances by J&K-based actors, including Kusum Tickoo, Rajeev Rana, and Mir Sarwar.
Mir Sarwar, a celebrated actor from Kashmir, has carved a niche for himself in the Indian film industry with impactful roles in several Bollywood films. He is widely recognized for his performance alongside Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, among other prominent films. His presence in Love in Vietnam adds depth and credibility to the cast, continuing his contribution to representing Kashmiri talent on the national and international cinematic stage.
One of the songs from the film, titled #BadeDinHue, has already been released and is generating buzz online for its emotional depth and visual richness.
