Jammu, Apr 12 : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday described the outcome of the US-Iran talks in Islamabad as inconclusive, asserting that Washington had once again underestimated Tehran’s strategic resilience.

In a post on X, the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister questioned the expectation that Iran would surrender its leverage after suffering years of casualties, including the loss of its top leadership and thousands of civilians.
“If Trump believes what couldn’t be achieved through bombardment will be handed over at the negotiating table, he’s being misled yet again — just as when he was told Iran would fall in two days,” Mehbooba Mufti said. (KNS)
