Srinagar, Feb 14: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar issued a weather advisory today, stating that the region will remain generally dry from February 14-24, with a slight chance of light snow at isolated higher reaches on February 16 night or early morning of February 17.

Cloudy skies with light rain or snow are expected on February 25-26, followed by generally dry conditions from February 27-28.

Travelers are advised to check road and highway status, and residents of snow-bound areas are warned against venturing into sloppy and avalanche-prone areas .
