The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast brief spells of rain and thundershowers at a few places during the day from August 3rd to 5th, with light to moderate rain expected at many locations towards the night and early morning.

From August 3rd to 5th, the region is expected to see brief spells of rain and thundershowers at isolated locations during the daytime, with light to moderate rain and thundershowers likely at many places towards the night and early morning.

Between August 6th and 8th, scattered rain and thundershowers are forecasted for the Kashmir Division, while the Jammu Division may experience these conditions at numerous locations.

From August 9th to 11th, rain and thundershowers are anticipated at isolated spots in Kashmir Division and more widespread across Jammu Division.

The Met Centre has issued a warning of intense showers in brief periods, which could lead to flash floods, cloudbursts, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas of J&K. Heavy rainfall is also expected at some locations during the next three days. Residents are advised to remain cautious and stay updated on weather alerts.
