Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq has called on parents to ensure their children receive a comprehensive religious and moral education by enrolling them in Darsgah/Maktabs.

He emphasizes the critical role these institutions play in instilling strong ethical values and a deep understanding of religious principles in young minds.

Highlighting the importance of inclusivity, Mirwaiz points out that special arrangements have been made for girl students, providing them with a supportive and safe learning environment.

Additionally, he stresses the importance of reading the Quran’s translation in the Mother tongue-Kashmiri language to deepen their understanding of religious teachings and to make the holy text more accessible & understanding to the local population.

He encourages parents to take advantage of these resources to foster the moral and spiritual growth of their children.
