To review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired police personnel, an interactive meeting was chaired by SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar-IPS at DPL Budgam.
The meeting was attended by more than 100 retired Police personnel. Addl. SP Budgam, DySP DAR DPL Budgam and other officers were also present on the occassion.
The participants were welcomed by SSP Budgam said that they are always a part of Police organization besides, assured them that J&K Police is always available to provide assistance.
During the meeting, the retired officers raised various issues and also proposed some initiatives for the betterment of post-service life. SSP Budgam assured them that their genuine issues and problems would be addressed at an earliest for their early redressal.
The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks along with the assurance that such meetings will be held on regular basis in future also to redress the grievances of the retirees.
