Based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the 90s, Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has stirred up the nation with its ‘realistic’ storyline. Ever since the film got released on March 11, it is garnering immense love and appreciation from the audience. However, the movie has sparked a debate over its storyline, and few are accusing the makers of allegedly spreading ‘propaganda’ messages amongst people and targetting a specific community. Now, amid all this, a shocking incident has taken place in one of the theatres of Telangana’s Adilabad district screening the movie.
In a worrisome incident, two miscreants reportedly chanted pro-Pakistan slogans while watching ‘The Kashmir Files’ in the theatre. A video of this incident has now hit social media and is going viral now. In a viral video of the incident, the audience in the auditorium can be seen exchanging heated arguments while the film The Kashmir Files plays in the background. Then someone in the audience starts beating up another viewer. Though the audio of the viral video is unclear, reports suggest that the incident occurred after two people began chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans while watching the film.
