MLA Budgam seeks strengthened winter arrangements

Budgam, Dec 21 : MLA Budgam Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi on Saturday urged the district administration to put in place comprehensive winter preparedness measures in view of the approaching harsh winter conditions.

He stressed the need for ensuring uninterrupted power supply, adequate availability of ration and other essential commodities, and timely snow clearance to minimise inconvenience to the public.

The MLA said all concerned departments should remain proactive and work in coordination to provide relief to residents during the winter months and ensure smooth functioning of essential services across the district.

He also called for advance planning to maintain accessibility, safety and uninterrupted basic services for all sections of society during the peak winter period.(KNS)
