Srinagar, Dec 14 (KNC): Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Chadoora, Ali Mohammad Dar, on Sunday lodged an official complaint against the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chadoora, alleging humiliation and disrespect.
Speaking to media persons after filing the complaint, Dar, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), said, “As you know, an incident took place yesterday in which the SDM misbehaved with me. I have lodged a complaint against him and will take further action in the matter.”
Dar said the matter was serious and demanded accountability, asserting that no officer is above the law.
On Saturday, the issue surfaced during a demonstration in Chadoora against brick kilns, during which the MLA levelled serious allegations against the concerned department, accusing it of misconduct and disrespect towards a democratically elected representative. (KNC)
