Baramulla, April 14:
Renowned playwright and literary figure Mohammad Amin Bhat has been re-elected as the President of Adbi Markaz Kamraz (AMK) for the second consecutive term, following a consensus among members during the organization’s annual general body meeting held in Baramulla.

Bhat, known for his significant contributions to Kashmiri literature and theatre, continues to enjoy widespread respect and trust within literary circles. His re-election reflects the confidence of the literary community in his leadership and vision for promoting Kashmiri language, literature, and culture.

Adbi Markaz Kamraz, one of the prominent literary organizations in Jammu and Kashmir, has played a pivotal role in preserving and promoting regional languages and heritage. Under Bhat’s leadership, the Markaz has initiated several literary festivals, publications, and cultural dialogues across the Valley.

Following the announcement, Bhat expressed his gratitude to the members for their continued support and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the literary and cultural fabric of the region.
