Requests him to inspect support system, carry out rectifications
Srinagar, Oct 21 Medical Superintendent CD hospital on Friday has written to executive engineer MH&CH to inspect support systems and do rectifications on emergency basis at GB Panth hospital before shifting CD hospital there.
“As per above Govt order and order issued by the Principal /Dean Govt Medical college Srinagar, Children hospital (an associated hospital of GMC Sgr) has been shifted to 500 bedded hospital at Bemina and consequent upon that and as per orders mentioned in above references Govt.CD Hospital is to be shifted to GB Panth hospital Sonwar. It is requested that following support systems may be inspected and whatever rectifications needed may be done on emergency basis.”
“Oxygen plant and piping system to each and every bed of GB Panth hospital to be ensured, Generators for backup of electricity need to be serviced and kept ready, Central heating system may be inspected and kept ready for coming winter, Fire fighting system also needs to be kept ready, Laundry section also needs to be inspected and whatever rectification is needed may be done and Water pumping facility may be checked and kept ready.
“It is requested that above mentioned support system may be kept updated and ready for use before shifting of CD Hospital to GB Panth Hospital.” It added.
