Srinagar, Oct 21 : Locals on Friday evening caught a thief in Khomani chowk in Bemina area of Srinagar on Friday.

A police official told that today evening locals of the khomani chowk caught a thief who had entered imambara and tried to broke the locker of imambara khomani chowk. 

They said that arrested person disclosed his name as Zameer Ahmed Reshi son of Muneer ahamed reshie resident of Tangdar.

They added that he has been taken into custody and cognizance into matter will be initiated.
