Srinagar, Dec 4 : Three separate fire incidents were reported in the Srinagar city on Thursday, resulting in minor damage to a room of a residential house and a attic portion of a mosque while fire in a sweets shop was contained swiftly.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that, a residential house in Batamaloo caught fire, causing damage to the one room due to bed structure before fire and emergency services reached the spot and was controlled shortly.
In another incident at Nalbandpora Safakadal, the etic portion of a local mosque suffered damage after a fire broke out.
Third fire incident was reported at Famous sweet shop namely Nathu sweets in which a MCB box caught fire and swift action by fire and emergency service contained the fire.
Officials said that firefighters swiftly acted at both locations and successfully brought the flames under control, preventing further loss.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
