Nowshera, Dec 04 (KNC): In a firm enforcement of security protocols, Police Station Nowshera has booked a local house owner for renting out accommodation to three individuals from Kashmir without completing mandatory tenant verification.
The violation, seen as a serious lapse under the District Magistrate’s standing orders, led to the registration of FIR.
In a statement issued here to news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Today, reliable information was received at Police Station Nowshera that one person namely Mohd. Rafiq S/o Abdul Rashid R/o Ward No. 03 Nowshera had rented out a room to three persons belonging to Kashmir without conducting the mandatory tenant verification with the Police Station, it reads.
The individual violated the orders issued by the District Magistrate Rajouri. In this regard a Case FIR No. 183/2025 U/S 223 BNS has been registered at Police Station Nowshera, it reads.
The general public is once again advised to strictly adhere to the tenant verification guidelines issued by the District Magistrate Rajouri. Any non-compliance will invite strict legal action under relevant provisions of law, reads the statement. (KNC)
